Deb Karpman is an author/illustrator and art educator who loves bringing ideas to life with bold graphic images and unique visual juxtapositions. For most of her career, Deb was a traditional artist who exhibited in 52 national and international gallery shows. Later in life, she discovered her love of illustration and it opened a new world of image-making and creative practice. Drawing on her many years of working as a contemporary artist, Deb creates unique illustrations using a meticulous process where she cuts and designs each image: mixing fluorescents, found materials, and crafty embellishments.
